Generic Zocor is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Zocor should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.

Generic for Zocor Dosage
The following information just highlights the general average dosage of GenericZocor The usual recommended dosage of Generic Zocor is 20 milligrams once a day in the evening. For high cholesterol patients the dose will start at 40mg adjusted every 4 weeks. For those with severe kidney disease the dose should start at 5mg a day.
