Triamcinolone (Generic Triacet) is used to replace a natural hormone called adrenal glands, when enough of it is not made in the body. Generic Triacet belongs to the general family of drugs called steroids.

The usual recommended dosage of Generic Triacet for allergies is to apply to the affected areas 2 times a day, in the morning and the evening. Your doctor will have you stop using the ointment if your symptoms persist after 25 days of treatment.
