Generic Theox is indicated to prevent and treat symptoms of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It relieves cough, wheezing, shortness of breath and troubled breathing. Theophylline (Generic Theox) works by opening up the bronchial tubes (air passages of the lungs) and increasing the flow of air through them.
Generic for Theox Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Theox is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

Some of the most serious Generic Theox side Effects include anxiety, nervousness, restlessness, diarrhea, fainting spells, lightheadedness and fast or irregular breathing or heartbeat (palpitations).
