Generic Theo-24 is indicated to prevent and treat symptoms of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It relieves cough, wheezing, shortness of breath and troubled breathing. Theophylline (Generic Theo-24) works by opening up the bronchial tubes (air passages of the lungs) and increasing the flow of air through them.

Generic Theo-24 is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
