Generic Temovate is indicated to reduce or inhibit the actions of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, redness and swelling. Inflammation of the skin happens due to irritation of the skin and is caused by the release of various substances that are important in the immune system. Clobetasol (Generic Temovate) works by acting inside the skin cells to decrease the release of these inflammatory substances. This reduces swelling, redness and itch.
Generic for Temovate Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Temovate is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Temovate should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
Any type of active infection
Circulation problems
Large areas of burned or damaged skin
Thinning of skin
An unusual or allergic reaction.
