Generic Spiriva is indicated to bronchospasm (wheezing or difficulty in breathing) that is associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Chronic Pulmonary Obstructive Disease includes breathing problems like chronic bronchitis (swelling of the airways or tubes to the lungs) and emphysema (damage to the air sacs in the lungs). Tiotropium Bromide (Generic Spiriva) works by relaxing and increasing the flow of air into the lungs.
Generic for Spiriva Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Spiriva is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

Some of the most serious Generic Spiriva side Effects include difficulty breathing, wheezing, increased shortness of breath, chest pain or fast heartbeat, headache (severe), serious problems with your vision (blurred vision, irritation or pain), skin rash or hives, swelling of the lips, tongue or face, vomiting.
