Rhinocort is most commonly used for relief of the symptoms of hay fever and similar allergic nasal inflammations.
Rhinocort Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Rhinocort is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or any component of this formulation.
Rhinocort should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
. Amebiasis
. Asthma
. Diabetes mellitus
. Glaucoma
. Herpes simplex (virus) infection of the eye
. Infections
. Injury to the nose

Rhinocort Dosage
The usual recommended dosage of Rhinocort for Crohn's disease is 9 mg taken once daily in the morning for up to 8 weeks. For recurring episodes of active Crohn's Disease, a repeat 8-week course of Rhinocort can be given.
Rhinocort Adverse Effects
The most common Side Effects of Rhinocort are dizziness or drowsiness Headache, increased or decreased appetite, increased sweating, nausea, nervousness or difficulty sleeping, upset stomach, and increased growth of hair on the face or body.
