Generic Qvar is indicated to prevent wheezing, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties caused by severe asthma and other lung diseases. Beclomethasone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It works by reducing swelling in the airways.
Generic for Qvar Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Qvar is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past. Generic Qvar is contraindicated in the primary treatment of status asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asthma where intensive measures are required.
Generic Qvar is not found to interact with other drugs. Consult with your doctor before taking any other prescription or over-the-counter medication.
Generic for Qvar Dosage
The following information just highlights the general average dosage of GenericQvar The usual recommended dosage of Generic Qvar for bronchial asthma (oral inhalant) is
2 inhalations taken 3 to 4 times a day. Four inhalations taken twice daily have been shown to be effective in some people. If you have severe asthma, your doctor may advise you to start with 12 to 16 inhalations a day. Daily intake should not exceed 20 inhalations.

Some of the most serious Generic Qvar side Effects include chest pain or tightness, fever or chills, skin rash and itching (hives), sore mouth, with cream or white curd-like patches in the mouth or throat, troubled breathing or wheezing and unusual swelling.
