Generic Probenecid is indicated in the treatment of chronic gout or gouty arthritis. Generic Probenecid helps in condition that are caused by too much uric acid in the blood. Probenecid works by removing the extra uric acid from the body.
Generic Probenecid Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Probenecid is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

The usual recommended dosage of Generic Probenecid for gouty arthritis is 1 tablet of probenecid and colchicine daily for one week, followed by 1 tablet twice a day thereafter.
