The usual recommended dosage of Generic Primidone for seizures (convulsions) is either 50-milligram or scored 250-milligram Primidone tablets:
Days 1 to 3: 100 to 125 milligrams at bedtime
Days 4 to 6: 100 to 125 milligrams 2 times a day
Days 7 to 9: 100 to 125 milligrams 3 times a day
Day 10 to maintenance: 250 milligrams 3 times a day

Some of the most serious Generic Primidone side Effects include blurred, double vision, or uncontrollable rolling or movements of the eyes, irritability or mood changes, lightheadedness or fainting spells, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing and redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth.
