Generic Oxybutynin is indicated to relax the bladder muscle and reduces spasms. It relieves urinary and bladder difficulties, including frequent urination and inability to control urination. Oxybutynin is used to treat the painful or difficult urination caused by neurogenic bladder (altered bladder function due to a nervous system abnormality). Oxybutynin works by reducing the unstable bladder contraction, thereby allowing the bladder to hold larger amounts before emptying itself.
