Crocin is used to treat fever, cold and flu, headache and mild to moderate muscle pain. It works by cracking down the production of the prostaglandins that transmit pain impulses.
Common side effects include hypersensitivity, prolonged use of Crocin may cause kidney disorders and liver cirrhosis and allergic reactions include rashes, wheezing, swelling of tongue and face.
Do not use Crocin if you are allergic to Paracetamol or any of its ingredients. Do not take Crocin with Warfarin or similar drugs.
