Indications
Bacterial infections of the eye
Generic Ocuflox is indicated to treat bacterial infections of the eye, including conjunctivitis (pink eye) and ulcers of the cornea. Ofloxacin (Generic Ocuflox) works by entering the bacterial cell and inhibiting a chemical called DNA-gyrase which is involved in the production of genetic material (DNA) This therefore prevents the bacteria from reproducing and the growth is stopped.

Generic Ocuflox is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
