Indications

Generic Nebcin is indicated to treat serious infections caused by certain bacteria. Tobramycin (Generic Nebcin) is an aminoglycoside antibiotic, given into a muscle or vein. They work by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.
Generic Nebcin Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Nebcin is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Nebcin should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
Botulism
dehydration
difficulty hearing
kidney disease
myasthenia gravis
Parkinson's disease
other chronic illness

Generic Nebcin Dosage

The usual recommended dosage of Generic Nebcin for Bacterial Infections is to apply a half-inch ribbon into the affected eye(s) 2 or 3 times per day. In severe infections, apply a half-inch ribbon into the affected eye(s) every 3 or 4 hours until there is improvement. Then use less medication before stopping altogether.
Generic Nebcin Adverse Effects
Some of the most serious Generic Nebcin side Effects include difficulty hearing, dizziness
loss of balance, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting and pain or difficulty passing urine.

Generic Nebcin and Pregnancy
