The usual recommended dosage of Generic Monodox for Bacterial Infections is 200 milligrams on the first day of treatment (100 milligrams every 12 hours) followed by a maintenance dose of 100 milligrams per day. The maintenance dose may be taken as a single dose or as 50 milligrams every 12 hours.

Some of the most serious Generic Monodox side Effects include dark yellow or brown urine, difficulty breathing, increased sensitivity to the sun or ultraviolet light, headache, itching in the rectal or genital area, pain on swallowing, redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth and stomach pain or cramps.
