Generic Melquin is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Melquin should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
Anemia or other blood disorders
Dehydration or fluid or electrolyte problems
Diabetes
Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency
Kidney disease
Liver disease
Lung disease
Vitamin B deficiency

Antacids containing magnesium trisilicate
Certain antibiotics (such as ciprofloxacin, lomefloxacin, norfloxacin and ofloxacin)
