Generic for Lithobid Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Lithobid is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Lithobid should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
Dehydration (diarrhea or sweating)
Heart or blood vessel disease
Kidney disease
Leukemia
Low level of salt in the blood, or low-salt diet
Parkinson's disease

The usual recommended dosage of Generic Lithobid for Depression is 1,800 milligrams per day. Immediate-release forms are taken in 3 or 4 doses per day; long-acting forms are taken twice a day.
