Indications
Decrease formation of Melanin.
Generic Hydroquinone is indicated to decrease the formation of melanin in the skin. Melanin is the pigment in skin that gives it a brown color. Generic Hydroquinone is applied to the skin to lighten areas that have darkened (hyperpigmented). Hydroquinone will work best if you avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and wear sunscreens and protective clothing.

Generic Hydroquinone is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
