Malaria is a fatal disease caused by sporozoan parasites that are transmitted through the bite of an infected anophole mosquitos. Sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (Generic Fansidar) works by blocking the production of a chemical named folinic acid inside the parasite that causes malaria.
