Generic Estring is indicated to relieve symptoms of vaginal irritation and dryness and urinary tract irritation that occurs in some women during menopause. Estradiol (Generic Estring) contains a natural estrogen female hormone, essential for maintaining normal female functions normally produced by the ovaries. After menopause, the ovaries decrease their production of this hormone.
Generic for Estring Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Estring is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Estring should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.

There are a number of medications that interact with Generic Estring. It is important to take the doctor's counsel if you are taking any of the following.

Generic for Estring Dosage
The following information just highlights the general average dosage of GenericEstring The usual recommended dosage of Generic Estring for Urogenital symptoms is one Estradiol vaginal ring to be inserted as deeply as possible into the upper one-third of the vaginal vault. The ring is to remain in place continuously for three months, after which it is to be removed and, if appropriate, replaced by a new ring. The need to continue treatment should be assessed at 3 or 6 month intervals.
