Erythromycin (Generic Eryc) is an antibiotic that prevents bacteria from producing proteins, which interferes with bacterial growth and multiplication, while not affecting human cells.

The usual recommended dosage of Generic Eryc for Bacterial infections is 250 mg every 6 hours taken one hour before meals. If twice-a-day dosage is desired, the recommended dose is 500 mg every 12 hours. The 333 mg tablet is recommended is dosage is desired every 8 hours.
Generic for Eryc Adverse Effects
Some of the most serious Generic Eryc side Effects include dark yellow or brown urine, difficulty breathing, hearing loss, pain on swallowing, ringing in the ears, severe or watery diarrhea, skin rash or itching, swelling of face or neck and yellowing of eyes or skin.
