Generic Enalapril is indicated to lower blood pressure and to prevent and treat heart failure. Enalapril belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors). Generic Enalapril controls high blood pressure (hypertension) by relaxing blood vessels.
