Indications
Relieves spasms of bladder and urinary tract.
Generic Ditropan is indicated to relieve spasms of the bladder and urinary tract. This includes symptoms of urinary frequency, urinary urgency, urinary leakage, painful or difficult urination, urinary incontinence, and nighttime urination associated with overactive bladder. It suppresses involuntary contractions of the bladder's smooth muscle (spasms) by blocking the release of acetylcholine. This is called an "anticholinergic effect".

Generic Ditropan is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
difficulty swallowing solids or liquids
reflux disease
glaucoma
myasthenia gravis
ulcerative colitis
thyroid problems
high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat
any type of heart disease
hiatal hernia
enlargement of prostate
