Indications
Relieves spasms of bladder and urinary tract.
Generic Ditropan is indicated to relieve spasms of the bladder and urinary tract. This includes symptoms of urinary frequency, urinaryurgency, urinary leakage, painful or difficult urination, urinary incontinence, and nighttime urination associated with overactive bladder.It suppresses involuntary contractions of the bladder's smooth muscle (spasms) by blocking the release of acetylcholine.This is called an "anticholinergic effect".
