Indications

Generic Cloxacillin is indicated to treat many different types of infections caused by staphylococcus bacteria ("staph" infections), a susceptible type of bacteria. Generic Cloxacillin makes the cell wall (skin) of the bacteria leaky, kills the bacteria and prevents their growth.
Generic Cloxacillin Contraindications and Drug Interactions
Generic Cloxacillin is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Generic Cloxacillin should not be taken by patients who have a history of the following ailment conditions.
Kidney disease
Stomach or intestinal disease
Infectious mononucleosis.
