Generic Ceftin is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past.

Generic for Ceftin Dosage
The following information just highlights the general average dosage of GenericCeftin
The usual recommended dosage of Generic Ceftin for bacterial infections is 250 milligrams, 2 times a day for up to 10 days. For more severe infections the dose may be increased to 500 milligrams, 2 times a day.
For Throat and Tonsil Infections, 125 milligrams 2 times a day for 10 days.
For Urinary Tract Infection, 125 milligrams, 2 times a day for 7 to 10 days. This dose may be increased to 250 milligrams 2 times a day for severe infection.
For Gonorrhea, a single dose of 1 gram.
For Early Lyme Disease, 500 milligrams taken twice a day for 20 days

Some of the most serious Generic Ceftin side Effects include difficulty breathing, wheezing,dizziness,fever or chills, sore throat,headache,reduced amount of urine
redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth,seizures (convulsions),severe or watery diarrhea,skin rash, itching,swollen joints,unusual bleeding or bruising,unusual weakness or tiredness.
