Generic Canasa is contraindicated in patients, who are hypersensitive to this drug, medications that belong to this class of drugs or had an allergic reaction to it in the past. re indicated for the treatment of active ulcerative proctitis.

The suppository should be retained for one to three hours or longer, if possible, to achieve the maximum benefit.
